Hello! I find myself in a bit of a quandary.

Regarding Jayne hats, the right colors of yarn is easy to find...the right color in the right WEIGHT is vexing me. I'm looking for Jayne Hat colors in bulky or super bulky.

Have any of you used bulky or super bulky weight yarn in your Jayne hats, and where did you get it? I'd be very appreciative. :D

Jesus, the summer season is already shaping up with some nice heavy hitters.

New anime series, Humans VS Anthropomorphics, called "World Destruction".
The premise is about humans waging war against Beast races that consider humans
to be livestock. It looks lie it could be fairly entertaining(the eagle Kemono
in the intro looks like a badass, so heads up Avian fans). Check it out!

How I'm Feelin': amused

As I haven't seen anything about Dr. Horrible on this community yet I thought I would share.

Dr. Horrible is an amazing creation by Joss Whedon. It is a supervillain musical with great music, great characters, and I would say more but don't want to spoil it. Acts I and II are currently up and Act III will go up the 19th.

Be forewarned! All acts will stay up until midnight Sunday July 20th, after which they will only be available for purchase on iTunes.

How I'm Feelin': rofl

Been trying to normalise my sleep schedule since being at G's in VA, but
it's really hard to not be super late-night mode, since it's something
that feels so natural after all this time. 3rd shift lifestyle, oi vey.
I finally managed to fall asleep at like 5AM this morning. I awoke some
time later and looked at the clock. it said 7:30, birds where chirping
loudly, and it looked like sunset.

I was like "Shit, I slept all day!!" so I went downstairs expecting some
derisive chastisement, only to find Carmen just waking up.

Me:
"oh... it's 7:30 AM"

"Oh....

Shit..."


I've been on an anime binge since I've been home. I just watched
'Elemental Gelade' in it's entirety(it's so fluffy), and am in
the middle of Watching 'Nabari no Ou" ep 14.Also watching 'Last Exile',
a series I never managed to finish for no real particular reason. It's
good and it's steampunk. But the site is being slow as hell. Damn you
Veoh Maintenence!

Hey gals! Just wanted to let you all know that Nerd Girl Pinups will be launching this September and we are looking for pinups, writers and artists!

The site is dedicated to celebrating real nerdy women in cute pinup style photo shoots. There's no nudity, because we believe the really sexy parts of a gal are our brains, not just our boobs! All sorts of nerds are encouraged to apply, and right now the site is volunteer run and driven though models will receive a portion of any merch that sells with their images on it. We are located in Toronto, Canada, but are signing up photographers all over the world to help out.

How I'm Feelin': sleepy

Ok, so recently I got a egg timer program from Sardine Software since I've sometimes been at my computer while I'm cooking something.

I basically redid the *.wav file to the Star Trek Red Alert noise since I knew that'd get my attention real quick. Took one where it sounded once and changed it to 6 times with Audacity. (If you wanna hear the result, click here.. Converted it to *.ogg for space reasons.) If you got that program, convert that to *.wav, then rename original sound to ding2.wav, then just copy it in the directory if you wanna do this.

Well? Today was the first time I got to use it. Did the trick; I jumped 6 feet XD. Worth it though. Really worth it so da dinner don't get burned.
